Resolving Executive Level Conflicts
–    Amy Lieberman
–    Room 221C

Session Description
Conflicts involving senior executives and co-owners of a company carry myriad issues not typically present in disputes among lower level employees.  Even when they involve issues common to all disputes, the amounts in controversy and the potential devastating impact on the business warrant special attention and care in preventing and resolving those matters in an appropriate and timely fashion. Personalities can seem larger than life.  Company reputations can be ravaged, as well as those of the individuals involved.  The well being of all employees could depend on a successful outcome of the dispute. Conflict at the “C-Level” (Chief Executive, Operating, Financial, Legal, Technical and other Officers), or those involving board members or business owners requires both a pragmatic and diplomatic approach.  Knowing the essential factors involved in senior level conflict can be invaluable in preventing or resolving the conflict.
