Local Chapters
EVHRA meets the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm. In June & August at 7:30am, with no meetings in July and September. Please see EVHRA website for further details.
SMA of Greater Phoenix is a special interest chapter of SHRM which provides a forum for networking and education for those intestested in the field of Employment. The group meets the first Wednesday of every other month from 7:30am to 9:30am beginning in February each year. Locations and meeting topics are posted online.
VSHRA is the largest local chapter of the Arizona State SHRM Council (AZSHRM) and has over 400 members representing over 250 companies locally. VSHRA has been recognized nationally for its programs and accomplishments, including being awarded the SHRM Superior Merit Award status. VSHRA has three meeting locations including the Central Valley Chapter (Arizona Biltmore), the North Valley Chapter (Desert Ridge Marriott in Scottsdale), and the West Valley Chapter (Arrowhead Country Club). SHREC is a specialty chapter, geared to top HR Executives in Arizona. Membership is by invitation only and is limited to the top HR Executive in the organization, as only one of the criteria for membership. The purpose of the Chapter is the professional development of HR executives in Arizona and to provide policy and issues guidance and mentoring to the Arizona HR community.
